We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Groupe Paco inc. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in processing customer requests and ensuring the smooth execution of mechanical engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to internal customers in the preparation of estimates and offers.
- Evaluate customer requests, tender, and change order documents, assessing associated costs and impacts.
- Analyze contractual documents and coordinate with the Chief Estimator to develop technical quotes and prices.
- Track submissions and maintain a record of activities.
- Participate in sales-related committees and activities.
- Perform administrative tasks related to this position.
- Contribute to the analysis of actual project costs to ensure a feedback loop.
- Participate in project post-mortems.
- College diploma in a technical field (ideally engineering) or relevant experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in a technical field, preferably in estimation or project management.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of professional ethics.
- Good command of French and English, spoken and written.
- Strong analytical mind, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and adapt, work in a team, and manage time effectively.
