We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Groupe Paco inc. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in processing customer requests and ensuring the smooth running of all mechanical engineering projects.
Main Responsibilities- Provide support to internal customers in the preparation of estimates and offers.
- Evaluate customer requests, tender and change order documents, and assess the impacts of the terms and conditions provided.
- Analyze contractual documents and coordinate with the Chief Estimator to develop technical quotes and prices.
- Track submissions and maintain a record of activities.
- Participate in committees and activities related to sales.
- Perform administrative tasks related to this position.
- Contribute to updating proposal and estimation tools to improve their content.
- College diploma in a technical field (ideally in engineering) or relevant experience in a technical field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a technical field, ideally in an estimation or project management environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of professional ethics.
- Good command of French and English, spoken and written.
- Strong analytical mind, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and adapt, work in a team, and manage time effectively.
