The Director, ESG and Climate Change is a pivotal role at Norda Stelo, responsible for spearheading our ESG offering and driving innovative solutions to combat climate change. This position is crucial in solidifying our leadership in asset sustainability and asserting our position in the fight against climate change.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and Articulating Sustainable Development Strategies: Ensure the ongoing development and implementation of the Norda Stelo impact model, aligning it with our ESG strategy and integrating it into core business decisions.
- Market Positioning and Service Offering: Regularly analyze the market position of our ESG services, identify evolving client needs, and adjust our service offering to position ourselves as a leader in the field.
- Collaboration and Business Development: Collaborate with segment directors to identify business development priorities and strategies, develop executive action plans, and establish performance indicators for activities under responsibility.
- Expertise and Mentoring: Act as a climate change expert, providing mentoring and participating in the professional development of talent at Norda Stelo.
- Norda Stelo ESG/Climate Change Ambassador: Represent Norda Stelo, promote ESG/climate change services to clients and in professional and academic communities, and actively participate in conferences and seminars.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in environment, sustainable development, or relevant combination of education and experience.
- 10 to 15 years in ESG, sustainable development, and climate change project management, with proven experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, innovation, influence, collaboration, and network development.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bilingualism (French and English).
