Job Summary

As a Financial Disclosure Advisor at CIE_101 Beneva Inc., you will work to ensure compliance with accounting standards for the group's companies. You will participate in the interpretation and application of IFRS. You will conduct analysis, control, validation, and research work to produce and approve financial statements and other financial reports. In addition, you will collaborate on process optimization and maintaining high-quality customer service. You will assist managers in exercising their responsibilities by providing analysis and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor IFRS standards and best accounting practices in the industry

  • Support team members in applying accounting standards and contribute to their training

  • Ensure consistency of accounting conventions across the group's entities

  • Analyze new accounting standards and participate in implementing necessary changes for their application

  • Provide advisory services to management on complex financial transactions, supporting recommendations with current standards

  • Participate in financial governance work (developing tools, strategies, procedures, test calendars, etc.)

  • Participate in the preparation of the year-end file for the annual audit and follow up with external auditors on complex accounting questions

  • Actively participate in current and future projects of the Management; projects requiring internal expertise and transversal collaboration with various teams within the organization (e.g. ESG, Financial Governance)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting

  • Recognized professional accounting title (CPA, CA, etc.) or in the process of obtaining it

  • Excellent knowledge of current IFRS standards

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

  • Functional mastery of the English language, both spoken and written, due to the nature of tasks or interactions with colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers who are English-speaking, or to meet the company's growth objectives
