Senior Pipeline Simulation Team Lead

About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals in developing and supporting pipeline leak detection systems. As the Pipeline Simulation Team Lead, you will supervise and manage the activities of personnel working on these critical systems, ensuring their effectiveness and reliability.
- You will collaborate with other departments to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Manage the pipeline simulation team, including delegating work responsibilities and completing reporting.
- Provide ongoing employee development through coaching, performance management, coordination with vendors, and negotiating contracts.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of pipeline leak detection, trainer/simulator, and batch tracking systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computing Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in the petroleum industry, with 5+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Previous experience developing and supporting leak detection systems or similar real-time computer systems on liquid petroleum systems.
- Excellent leadership skills and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience leading CPM system projects.
- Knowledge of pipeline leak detection, hydraulics, and operations.
