Job Title: Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Youth Support Specialist to join our team at Youth Impact Jeunesse Inc.

About the Role

The Youth Support Specialist will provide critical support services to youth living in group homes and half-way houses. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to youth, promoting healthy relationships and life skills;
  • Assist with daily activities, including housekeeping and food preparation;
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address specific needs and goals;
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as counselors and educators, to ensure comprehensive support;
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress;
Requirements:
  • Diploma or equivalent experience in a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends;
  • Criminal record check and child welfare clearance;
  • Possession of a valid driver's license;
