As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain comprehensive health histories, including demographics, chief complaint, and medical history
  • Perform thorough assessments, make differential diagnoses, and order appropriate testing
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with supervising physicians
  • Provide education to patients, families, and other healthcare providers as needed
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Canadian or US-Accredited Physician Assistant Education Program
  • Eligible to challenge the National Physician Assistant Certificate Exam or Canadian Physician Assistant Certification
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience working in an Emergency Department setting is preferred
