Job Title: Automation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team at Kuntz Electroplating Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our electroplating plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment in our electroplating plant
  • Repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues with machinery and equipment
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Perform mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and edit designs
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Supervise maintenance programs and operation of mechanical plants
  • Test machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • 1-7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting

Work Environment:

Our electroplating plant is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a noisy environment and will be exposed to various chemicals and materials.

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
