We are seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our team at Spark Power, a leading provider of end-to-end electrical services in North America.

About the Role:

The Electrical Apprentice will assist Journeymen and other employees with their tasks and contribute to operations. Over time, the apprentice's skills will increase, and they will take more ownership of jobs and how they are run, dependent on their abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the best methods for visualizing, measuring, and estimating work as appropriate for the job situation
  • Determine when additional materials are needed to complete required work
  • Define and label wires, conduits, and apparatus to avoid shock or electrocution
  • Determine the best routing options for conduit, wires, and other systems
  • Assist newer or fellow apprentices with orientation and learning
  • Attend required meetings, safety meetings, and professional development sessions
  • Ensure phone and barcode scanner are charged and ready, and truck is stocked with proper tools and materials
  • Load materials, lifts, trailers, and other equipment
  • Maintain Work Order Accuracy
  • Perform field work and installations
Competitive Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including excellent health and dental benefits, flexible options, and wellness spending accounts. Other benefits include RRSP matching, continuous training and skills improvement, and a bonus structure.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Registered Electrical apprentice – Minimum level 3
  • Experience in industrial, commercial, and/or institutional electrical work
  • Excellent attitude with a proactive, hardworking, and team-oriented personality
  • Valid Driver's License with clear abstract
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable and committed to quality work and contributing to the team
