We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Accountant Assistant to join our team at L& R COURIER SERVICE LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain and balance financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Establish and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balance of books.
  • Prepare tax returns, taking into account all relevant information and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a college education or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure are essential.
  • Bondable candidate preferred.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced environment with a high level of organization required.
  • Public transportation available.
  • Permanent position offering 30 to 35 hours per week.
Estimated Salary Range

$40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
