Job Title: Biomedical Devices – Vice President, Engineering

At Stonewood Group Inc., we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Vice President, Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and growth in the biomedical devices industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our engineering team in the development and delivery of world-class biomedical devices. This will involve providing strategic direction, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering team in the development and delivery of biomedical devices
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Health Canada, CE Marks, and FDA Class 2
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve product development efficiency
  • Manage product roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in the biomedical devices industry
  • Proven track record of directing engineering teams to successful launch
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
  • Strong business acumen and ability to lead the development of engineering concepts into market-leading products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
