Job Title: Biomedical Devices Vice President Engineering

Stonewood Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our Biomedical Devices team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our engineering organization, driving innovation and growth in the development of biomedical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of biomedical devices from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.
  • Manage and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for biomedical devices.
  • Drive innovation and R&D initiatives to stay ahead of the competition and capitalize on emerging trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in the biomedical devices industry, with a proven track record of driving business growth and innovation.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, with a deep understanding of biomedical device development and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
