Unregulated Care Provider Role

At Aspira Cedarvale Lodge Retirement Living, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. As an Unregulated Care Provider, you will play a critical role in our team, impacting the lives of our residents and fostering meaningful connections.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, adhering to policies and procedures, and legislative requirements.

Administer medications as prescribed, monitor changes in condition, and report to the Director of Wellness.

Report incidents, near misses, illnesses, or problems with residents to the Director of Wellness or General Manager.

Provide guidance to Guest Attendants, ensuring care assignments are completed and changes in residents' needs are reported to the Director of Wellness.

Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, utilizing infection control principles.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Successful completion of Personal Service Worker certificate program.

Successful completion of Medication Administration training program provided on site and quarterly evaluation of competencies.

Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.

Current CPR training.

Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process.

All applicants must pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Bonus Points for having previous experience with medication administration.
