About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Design Technician to join our team at Flora DiMenna Designs Inc. As an Interior Design Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet our clients' needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Costs and Develop Specifications

You will be responsible for estimating the costs of projects and developing detailed specifications to ensure that our clients receive the best possible value for their investment.

Design and Plan Interior Spaces

You will work closely with our design team to create interior spaces that reflect our clients' needs and tastes. This will involve developing detailed plans and 3-D models showing the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.

Consult with Clients

You will consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purpose of space. This will involve working closely with clients to understand their vision and goals for their interior space.

Develop Plans and Drawings

You will develop detailed plans, elevations, cross-sections, and drawings to ensure that our clients receive the best possible design solution.

Requirements
  • Education

You will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as interior design or architecture.

Experience

You will have at least 3 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of design principles and practices.

Skills

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Computer Skills

You will have proficiency in 3D graphic software, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
