We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Clinician to join our team at the Child Development Institute. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will provide in-person, on-site therapeutic support to children and youth and their families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and deliver evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Administer comprehensive psycho-social assessments and develop clinical formulations in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary team.
- Lead evidence-based and evidence-informed individual, family, and group therapy sessions, actively engaging with clients and monitoring progress towards goals.
- Manage 20-25 case files, ensuring timely and coordinated service delivery, including intake, assessment, transition, and discharge planning.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and administer child and parent evaluation measures at prescribed intervals, submitting data for analysis to inform treatment planning.
- Complete reporting and documentation, complying with agency and accreditation standards, including report writing, treatment planning, and participation in ongoing professional development.
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related clinical discipline, with registration in good standing with a professional college.
- At least 1 year of experience in children's mental health, including exposure to working on cases involving adolescent mental health and learning disabilities.
- Clinical skills in assessment, formulation, and treatment, with the ability to utilize flexible strategies for engaging and working with families, individuals, groups, and larger systems.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in relevant theoretical approaches, such as trauma-informed treatment, attachment, CBT, TF-CBT, etc.
