About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Koh-I-Noor Indian Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our menu standards and kitchen protocols.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment, urban area.
