Farm Labourer Job Description

Les Jardins du Centre is seeking a skilled Farm Labourer to join our team. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop care and harvesting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the crops to ensure optimal growth and quality.
  • Assist with hand harvesting vegetables and fruits.
  • Pack and prepare produce for market.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops as needed.
  • Sort and grade produce to meet quality standards.
  • Perform weeding and other tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • The Farm Labourer position is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Screening Questions:

  • What is your availability for work? (Full-time, part-time, seasonal)
  • Do you have any experience working with crops or in a similar field?

Please note that this is a temporary position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is French.
