Farm Labourer Job Description

Les Jardins du Centre is seeking a reliable and physically capable Farm Labourer to join our team. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to crop maintenance, harvesting, and farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Harvest crops, including fruits and vegetables, and load them onto crates or containers.
  • Perform weeding and cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading supplies, livestock, and poultry.
  • Sort and pack fruits and vegetables for distribution.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects. The successful candidate must be able to work 40 hours per week and be available for temporary work assignments.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: French language proficiency is required.
