Digital Marketing Engagement Specialist

With a strong focus on local Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and community engagement, we are seeking a highly organized Digital Marketing Engagement Specialist to manage our online presence across social media platforms and business directories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage online presence across all local retail centres and wholesale brands, including community management and content scheduling across all social media channels.
  • Lead the coordination and optimization of paid digital marketing campaigns, with a special focus on local initiatives, and regular reporting and analysis of campaign results to adjust strategies for optimal performance.
  • Manage website content by updating and modifying it periodically, ensuring currency, while also developing engaging content for the website and social media platforms, aligning with the brand voice and marketing objectives.
  • Utilize CRM and analytics tools to generate reports, track performance, identify trends, and offer actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field at the College or University level; education, courses or certificates in a Marketing (or similar) capacity would be a definite asset.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing capacity with a minimum of 2 years of prior digital marketing experience with a strong focus on local SEM and community engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to write well, with strong grammar and an engaging style suitable for digital content.
  • Experience in coordinating and optimizing local SEM organic and paid campaigns and fostering community relations.
