Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team at First Nails.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as arranging for maintenance and repair work.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule events, programs, and activities in a timely and organized manner
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure a safe and clean working environment
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Be the point of contact for emergency situations and resolve them promptly
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operation
  • Monitor quality and production levels to maintain high standards
  • Oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to management
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise operation of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers to meet deadlines
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure compliance
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Physical stamina to lift and move equipment and supplies

Additional Information:
