Job Summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Series Lead to join our team in Pickering, ON. As a key member of our nuclear engineering group, you will be responsible for leading multi-discipline work groups and coordinating with stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement work plans and strategies to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
  • Interface with stakeholders, including project directors, managers, and design team leads, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and review commissioning specifications, procedures, and results to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the availability of spare parts and equipment required for commissioning and operation.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks and ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with the project team to complete non-engineering documents, such as operation, maintenance, and training documents.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may impact project delivery.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 5-10 years of practical experience in nuclear power plants.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario and member in good standing.
  • Working knowledge of CANDU design and plant system design.
  • Working knowledge of CSA N286.
  • Detailed understanding of client-specific ECC process and governance procedures.
  • Working knowledge of client Asset Suite Work Management, complete with active access rights.
  • Modification Team Lead qualification.
