About the Role:
Enerflex is seeking a highly skilled Process Mechanical Engineer to lead process engineering projects in a high-energy manufacturing environment. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the design and packaged manufacturing of gas processing facilities, working closely with our fabrication department to bring projects to life. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address daily shop floor questions to ensure the production team is set up for success
- Review general arrangements and 3D models to ensure design constructability
- Create process flow and piping/instrument diagrams
- Participate in HAZOP and SIL review meetings
- Specify instrumentation, including sizing PSVs and control valves
- Size vessels and piping based on process information
Requirements:
- Background in a modular packaging manufacturing environment
- Aptitude for assembly and fabrication
- Engineering degree
- Process experience in deep cut/cryogenic plants is a significant asset
- Proficiency in sizing pumps, heat exchangers, air coolers, and compressors required
- Experience in pressure vessel and piping design is required
- Experience in sizing pressure relief valves and control valves is required
