We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team at Global Marketing & Sales, Inc. as a Strategic Sales Executive.

This role is responsible for driving business development nationwide, establishing and growing relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs, and other key partners.

About the Role
  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify and expand partnerships within the travel trade sector to drive car rental sales across Canada.
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue through travel agencies, OTAs, and other B2B distribution channels.
    • Negotiate and manage preferred agreements with key travel trade partners.
  • Account Management & Relationship Building:
    • Maintain and develop relationships with travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, and travel networks across Canada.
    • Conduct sales calls, in-person agency visits, and virtual meetings to promote products and incentives.
    • Organize and conduct training sessions and webinars for travel agents.
  • Field Work & Market Engagement:
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions to increase brand visibility.
    • Work closely with marketing teams to develop sales materials and promotional campaigns tailored to the Canadian market.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking:
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
    • Submit weekly/monthly reports on business development activities and progress toward sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales within the car rental, travel, or tourism industry.
  • Strong network of travel agency, tour operator, and corporate travel contacts in Canada.
  • Experience in sales, business development, or account management in the car rental industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across Canada for client meetings and industry events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Bilingual (English & French) is a strong asset.
