Job Title: Commercial Cleaner

ServiceMaster Clean of Barrie is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join their nighttime cleaning team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with a colleague to provide exceptional cleaning services to customers.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and washing floors, dusting and polishing surfaces, and emptying trash and recycling containers. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be reliable and dependable, and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and wash floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust and polish surfaces, including desks, phones, and other equipment
  • Vacuum carpeting and area rugs to ensure a clean and tidy space
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom areas, including sinks, toilets, and showers
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Secondary School Certificate is an asset
  • Experience is not necessary, as we provide on-the-job training
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Reliability and dependability

  • Initiative and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Work Setting

This role will be based in an office building, cleaning service company, or commercial building environment.
