Job Title: Commercial Cleaner

ServiceMaster Clean of Barrie is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join their nighttime cleaning team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with a colleague to provide exceptional cleaning services to customers.

Shift Information

Shifts typically start between 4pm and 5pm and last between 6 to 9 hours. A driver's license with a clean driving history is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and wash floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust and clean all surface areas, including desks, phones, and furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting and area rugs to ensure a clean and tidy space
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom areas to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Pick up debris and empty trash and recycling containers to keep the area clean and organized
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner

  • Good oral communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Reliability and dependability to ensure consistent and high-quality work
  • Values and ethics to maintain a positive and respectful work environment
  • Initiative to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the team's success
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Setting

This role is based in an office building, cleaning service company, or commercial building environment.

Education and Experience
  • Secondary School Certificate is an asset, but not required
  • Experience is not necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided
