Job Summary:
As a Host with the Toptable Group, you will be an integral part of our restaurant team, providing a warm welcome and exceptional service to our guests. You will be an ambassador for our standards and culture, consistently delivering a high level of hospitality and ensuring a memorable experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage a waiting list and communicate with guests who are waiting
- Monitor a floor chart with available tables and ensure optimal table utilization
- Anticipate customers' needs and provide direct assistance where possible
- Support service staff where needed to ensure seamless service delivery
- Answer the phone and take to-go orders in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a guest-facing role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of customers and colleagues
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Professional presentation and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
