Job Summary

">

The ETL Integration Software Lead will be responsible for ensuring sound management of several requests for changes, coordinating activities with various teams involved in the request. This role requires strong analytical and summarizing skills, as well as problem-solving abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

">
  • Manage maintenances and evolution requests from planning phase to production of deliverables, in accordance with tools and methodologies in force
  • Participate in planning (schedule) and resource allocation, in collaboration with department managers and/or project manager when required
  • Coordinate participation of IT and/or business customers when required in delivery of changes
  • Coordinate test planning and execution
  • Coordinate planning of production releases linked to delivery of upgrades and tickets
  • Produce and provide progress reports on developments under its responsibility to groups involved
  • Participate in team meetings and ensure deadlines are communicated to teams involved
  • Design and develop integration solutions by following established standards and procedures:
  • Participate in integration projects and/or change requests for integration solutions
  • Produce analyses, techniques, and estimate achievement efforts
  • Draft functional and technical documents required for development of integration solutions
  • Develop and perform unit, integrated, and system tests
  • Assist Go-Live team during deployment of solutions
  • Follow up during post-implementation period
  • Follow methodology and standards of Project Management Office
  • Train support staff
  • Provide Level 3 support, as needed
  • Making required recommendations to improve best practices
  • Providing mentoring as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University degree in computer science (or equivalent)
  • Ten (10) years of experience in analysis and development
  • Sense of organization, service, and concern for quality of results
  • Decision-making skills and sense of responsibility
  • In-depth knowledge of development methods and cycles
  • Team player attitude and leadership
  • Strong analytical and summarizing skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to share knowledge and expertise in readily understandable terms
  • Ability to manage numerous priorities
  • Ability to learn new systems independently
  • Capacity to provide support outside normal business hours (team working on rotational basis)
  • Practical knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter
  • Practical knowledge of development with relational databases Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, XML, JSON languages
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
  • Practical knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in retail and distribution (asset)

About this Role

This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement savings plan.
