Exciting Opportunity in Continuing Care Centre

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a Long Term Care setting at Alberta Health Services. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of an interprofessional healthcare team to deliver safe and effective patient-centered care.
  • Utilize nursing processes and critical thinking skills to provide high-quality care.
  • Lead front-line care and ensure residents' needs are met effectively.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Geriatric and palliative care experience.
  • Supportive living/continuing care experience.
  • Non-violent crisis intervention certification.
