Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at the Cowal Gold Operation. As a key member of our Mining team, you will play a critical role in working with us to quote, source, scope, and produce at our underground mine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support to the underground mining team
  • Bring the underground production online as per schedule
  • Contribute to the improvement of safety, production, and cost performance
  • Assist with tenders and procurement and manage internal and external project stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Initiate, plan, resource, and project manage all facets of the various underground mine infrastructure projects
  • Meet legislative, regulatory, and Evolution policy requirements while aligning with business objectives
  • Lead a safety culture of continuous improvement and play an active role in our Net Zero 2050 goal
Requirements
  • A proven track record in infrastructure project management, particularly in construction, with a preference for experience in underground mining environments
  • A tertiary engineering degree
  • Proficiency in Deswick or similar project planning software
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the business, including operators, technical personnel, and other professionals
  • A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to processes
  • The ability to formulate robust project plans and schedules
