We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Staff Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and implementing complex mechanical systems for our robots. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of robotics engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and experience working with 3D CAD tools. You should be able to lead designs from concept to production, optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative mechanical systems for humanoid robots.
- Optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other robot components.
- Develop groundbreaking robotic hands that match or exceed human performance.
- Drive innovation in cutting-edge technologies, including high power-density actuation and advanced sensing systems.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Robotics, or a closely related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience with 3D CAD tools and designing complex electromechanical systems.
- Proven track record of leading designs from concept to production in a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive experience working through the entire product lifecycle, including design, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and their application in mid- to high-volume production.
