About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at ABRISHAM HALAL MEAT & GROCERY. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, including carcasses, sides, and quarters.
  • Meat Preparation: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats.
  • Meat Handling: Remove bones from meat, weigh meats for sale, and cut poultry into parts.
  • Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, price meat products, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Store Displays: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to attract customers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Environment: You will be working in a fast-paced butcher shop environment, exposed to odors and standing for extended periods.
