Urban Barn is a prominent retail chain with numerous locations nationwide, specializing in premium furniture and home décor. Our mission is to ensure that both our customers and employees feel at home. In this position, you will enhance the customer journey while advancing your career with a respected Canadian brand.

Engage in the management of a dynamic furniture and home décor outlet. As a Key Holder, you will work alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to foster a supportive work atmosphere for the team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our clientele.

Our stores operate seven days a week, and we seek candidates who can commit to 30-40 hours weekly, with availability for various shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in their design selectionsOpen, prepare, and close the storeMentor and develop team membersSupport operational duties related to inventory and merchandisingEnsure the store meets performance standardsUphold the visual presentation and cleanliness of the store

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years in retail salesExperience in customer service leadershipA strong interest in interior design and merchandisingWillingness to maintain a flexible schedule (available for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
