About the Role

Akhira Trucking INC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and as required by emergency situations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work, mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Communication: Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and ensure their needs are met.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues with work orders and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Stay up-to-date on cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 50 hours per week.
