Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Akhira Trucking INC. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
  • Mountain driving expertise
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Load and unload goods
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods

Requirements:

  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)

Work Environment: Our work site environment is dusty.
