Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Assist with payroll and benefits administration, including calculating pay, benefits, and taxes.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, work under pressure.
