Job Summary

Intuitive is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist 2 to support our customers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of our cutting-edge medical products. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance activities, including system inspections, preventive maintenance, and software updates, to ensure our products are functioning at peak performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues, utilizing your expertise in electro-mechanical systems to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation, ensuring seamless integration with our customers' existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, providing timely and effective support to meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest product knowledge and technical training, ensuring you are equipped to handle even the most complex issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to provide technical expertise and support for product launches and promotions.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials, sharing your expertise with colleagues and customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in field service, technical support, or a related field.
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • General computer skills and proficiency in software applications.
  • Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in field service, technical support, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and technical documentation.
  • Experience with product training and development.

Working Conditions

  • Able to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1200 lbs.
  • Clean driving record.
