About the Role:

The Principal Project Director will oversee and manage all aspects of our commercial glazing projects from inception to completion. This strategic leader must ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning sessions and coordinate resources for project execution.
  • Manage project progress and adapt work as required to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Communicate with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
  • Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and change orders.
  • Order all components necessary to complete the project, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Mentor and support junior project managers and team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, ideally within the commercial glazing industry.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple large-scale projects with successful outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience within the glazing sector is strongly preferred. Experience within the construction industry is required.
