Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our facility in Ragged Lake. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Manage the facility's profit and loss statement
    • Oversee all aspects of production, including quality control and regulatory compliance
    • Collaborate with senior management to set company targets and KPIs
    • Monitor performance and prepare regular reports for the CEO and Board
  • Facility Management:
    • Manage the facility's budget and allocate resources effectively
    • Oversee capital projects and expenditures
    • Support the CEO and Board in investment raise activities
  • Human Dynamics:
    • Lead, mentor, and be mentored by senior leadership
    • Support functional area leads in identifying capacity and capability gaps
    • Collaborate with People & Culture and Finance to advise on team structure, salaries, and bonus plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar senior management role in a GMP facility
  • Strong knowledge of production management, quality control, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and solve problems effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in the use of ERP systems and other relevant software
