Plant Operations Manager

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Supervise a team of staff to ensure safe and efficient handling and processing of regulated medical waste
* Ensure the plant meets regulatory and safety compliance measures
* Maintain a productive and profitable plant operation
* Select, train, and develop a safe, effective, and efficient staff
* Interface proactively with personnel to achieve business goals
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
* Initiate actions to ensure timely resolution of identified hazards, unsafe conditions, or practices
* Perform periodic facility audits and review applicable regulatory paperwork
* Provide for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary
**Requirements:**
* 4th class power engineer certificate (preferred)
* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, 1+ year of experience managing staff
* Knowledge of barcode scanning and basic computer skills
* Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations
* Ability to operate a powered industrial truck (preferred)
* Ability to perform functions safely, productively, and according to policies and procedures
