Maintenance Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive maintenance activities and repairs to ensure continuous operation of machinery and equipment.
  • Maintenance Requests: Manage maintenance requests and prioritize breakdown repairs to minimize production interruptions.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and HVAC system issues.
  • Spare Parts Inventory: Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.
  • Other Duties: Perform all other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Diploma or Equivalent: Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years related maintenance experience in a maintenance coordination role.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment, including experience with preventive maintenance.
  • CMMS Experience: Familiarity with using and maintaining a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
