Our Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy team is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of standards and guidelines.

About the Role

This Project Manager position is critical to the success of our Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy team. The successful candidate will lead the development of innovative standards and facilitate technical discussions to promote consensus among key stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating the development of standards-based solutions within the Energy Efficiency Program and the Electrical Safety program.
  • Identifying, pursuing, and managing new business development initiatives to expand the portfolio into new areas supporting clean technologies.
  • Overseeing project processes, schedules, resources, costs, quality, and risk.
  • Managing day-to-day committee activities, meeting project milestones and revenue targets.

You will have the opportunity to engage with academia, regulators, industry, and other stakeholders, develop key relationships, and convene in-person and virtual committee meetings.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a relevant university degree or technologist certification in an engineering discipline or related area of study. Electrical or mechanical discipline is preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industry, manufacturing, utility sectors, or policy/regulatory environments is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and technical document writing, are essential. Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills are also necessary.

Proficiency in word processing, presentation software, project planning tools, and spreadsheets is expected.
