Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist in Wound, Ostomy and Continence to join our team. As a NSWOC, you will provide wound and ostomy consultation for patients in the clinic and community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide wound and ostomy care to patients in the clinic and community
  • Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in wound and ostomy care

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • Graduate of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC, formerly CAET)
  • Several years of escalating experience managing wounds and ostomies
