About the Role

We're seeking a Storage Solutions Architect to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for an IT Cloud Architect - specialized Storage & Backup who can develop and maintain systems and technology models and standards for a particular project.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in the implementation of standards and orientations for personnel executing plans and projects.
  • This position requires participation in architecture and planning projects, including the implementation of Storage Based Solutions, such as Block, File and Object storage, SAN connectivity, Backup, Disaster and Cyber Recovery.
  • Providing Technical assistance to IT Operations Storage and Backup team is also required.
  • The successful candidate should have the ability to lead teams of diverse experts and participate in multidiscipline projects.
  • Tactical decision-making is necessary to support immediate operational challenges.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in information technology or business administration, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT and/or IS.
  • Strong understanding of common framework and legal requirements for Data backup and retention span.
  • Strong understanding of Backups encryptions and Data protection.
  • Proven experience in the following vendor data center backup and recovery solutions: Norton LifeLock, Dell EMC Unity, etc.
  • Good understanding of TOGAF Architecture Principles.
  • Bilingual (French and English) Senior level communication skills are required.
