Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Watson Clinic. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, maintaining a thorough knowledge of the operation of all CT equipment, and staying aware of the latest advances in CT technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all CT equipment to achieve high-quality diagnostic exams.
  • Stay aware of the latest advances in CT technology.
  • Maintain knowledge of location and proper use of emergency equipment and ancillary equipment.
  • Act as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
  • Use equipment and accessories, employ techniques and procedures, perform services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Deliver patient care and service unrestricted by the concerns of personal attributes or the nature of the disease or illness, and without discrimination on the basis of sex, race, creed, religion, or socio-economic status.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of AMA-accredited program.
  • 1 year previous CT and 3D workstation experience preferred.
  • ARRT certification in CT and RT.
  • Current certification with State of Florida Radiation Control (HRS).
  • CPR certification.
