Strategic Initiatives Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Initiatives Leader to join our ScotiaMcLeod team.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per yearThis salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the job requirements, location, and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that support ScotiaMcLeod's long-term vision and goals.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and internal assessments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Manage scope, budget, risk, resources, plan, and internal/external communications for assigned projects.
- Support the ScotiaMcLeod leadership team in planning, implementing, and monitoring internal, cross-functional programs and procedures.
- Identify initiatives and processes that contribute to efficient and effective operation of the business.
- Develop and implement change management activities specifically related to projects and initiatives assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
- Project Management (PMP) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting focused on wealth management, banking or financial services industry, is an asset.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen and attention to detail.
- Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal for interacting with stakeholders with varying cross cultural and language differences.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other teams and senior executives.
- Advanced knowledge in financial analysis.
- Advanced leadership skills in Building Strategic Relationships and Customer Focus.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
