Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Hearthstone Inn - Port Hawkesbury.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas.
- Plan and implement cleaning schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate the purchase and inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to safety standards, departmental policies, and local health and sanitation regulations.
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
The Housekeeping Manager will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests, staff, and management. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.
