Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Hearthstone Inn - Port Hawkesbury. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning duties.
- Plan and coordinate the purchase of equipment and supplies.
- Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are adhered to.
- Supervise maintenance and repair services.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Supervise in-house laundry services.
- Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services.
- Ensure compliance with local health and sanitation regulations.
- Respond to guest complaints.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- 50 - 100 rooms in a hotel, motel, or resort setting.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Large workload.
