Fish and Seafood Processing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Seafood Preparer to join our team at Petit de Grat Packers Ltd. in Nova Scotia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing fish and seafood products for further processing or marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cutting, cleaning, and trimming fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing
  • Recording production information
  • Setting up and operating machines to can, bag, box, or package fish and seafood products
  • Setting up and operating machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate, or otherwise process fish or seafood products
