We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team at Wisdom Learning Centre Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the education and development of young children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their growth and learning.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Training: Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children aged 0-5 years, in collaboration with our experienced educators.
- Child Development: Monitor and assess the development of children, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and providing targeted support to ensure optimal growth.
- Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to our childcare staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and education.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of children and staff, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment that meets all regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Child development supervisor (ECE level 3) or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a childcare or education setting.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
