About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Java professional with 7+ years of experience in large-scale development projects for financial services. As a Java Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers and guiding them to deliver new functionality in Java to meet assigned deliverables.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of developers in developing new features and improving existing ones
  • Developing and implementing efficient coding standards and best practices
  • Ensuring timely delivery of tasks and projects while maintaining high quality standards
  • Fostering collaboration and open communication among team members

In addition to your technical expertise, we're looking for someone who can work effectively with virtual and in-person teams, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly to changing project requirements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 7+ years of experience in large-scale Java development projects for financial services
  • 1+ year of leadership experience, preferably in managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL, Elastic Search, and similar technologies
  • Familiarity with GIT, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, Docker, and event-driven architectures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

What We Offer

Luxoft offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
